**Every year, thousands of people from all over the world come to visit the island that master director Ingmar Bergman chose as his home. Here at Bergmancenter we welcome everyone who is curious about Ingmar Bergman, his films and his relationship to Fårö. From those who have seen most of his films to those who barely know who he is. At the center of our activities is Ingmar Bergman's creation, his love of film and Fårö.

**OUR EXHIBITIONS - 2024 OUR EXHIBITS

Play, Lust and Light - Ingmar Bergman on Fårö In our permanent exhibition we give a picture of Ingmar Bergman's creative process and his childlike enthusiasm for film, all kinds of film. The exhibition is spiced up with objects such as a genuine Oscar statuette, copies of his workbooks and sketches by his set designer. **More information on our temporary exhibitions for summer 2024 will be available soon.

Let there be light, fun and play - Ingmar Bergman on Fårö In our permanent exhibit we portray the creative process of Ingmar Bergman and his childish enthusiasm for film, all kinds of film. The exhibit is garnished with objects such as an Oscar statue, copies of his work books and sketches by his scenographer. **More information about our temporary exhibitions for summer 2024 will be released shortly.

FILM SCREENINGS Every Sunday all year round at 16:00 we show well-chosen films in the spirit of Bergman. Films that otherwise do not reach the general public on Gotland. During the summer we show movies on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Each Sunday all year round at 4 p.m. we screen films in the spirit of Bergman. Films that otherwise doesn't reach the broader public on Gotland and Fårö. During the summer we have film screenings Tuesdays and Saturdays.

CREATIVE WORKSHOP During the summer our creative workshop for children and young people is open every day. The whole family can create animated films and other art together with our artists and educators. During the summer our creative workshop is open. **Every summer, the week after midsummer, Bergmancenter organizes Bergman Week - a film festival that every year attracts major international guests such as Ang Lee, Sally Potter, Mia Hansen Løve and Wilhelm Dafoe.
