Vitgrund naturhamn

Welcome to Vitgrund natural harbor!

Here you moor your boat against the jetty with stern mooring against the buoy. Directly adjacent to the dock there is an accessibility-adapted decking. There is also a shelter, toilet, barbecue area and bench table. The toilet is located a bit into the island.

Vitgrund is part of the Vitgrund-Norrskär nature reserve. The island's rocky shores are home to torchflowers, sea rye and sea buckthorn. On Vitgrund you can also experience historical remains, such as house foundations, boat landings, as the largest fishing village in Gävle Bay was once located here.

Beach access south of the jetty. There is a stone bottom.
