At Hyttgatan we are greeted by five narrow iron pedestals that are placed in different ways. Some of the pedestals are placed more in the foreground while the others are placed behind. This creates a scenic feeling and a play with depth and perspective.

On top of the plinths we find various sculptures; in the foreground we meet a masculine, erect, tall figure wearing a long coat. There is also a much smaller figure standing next to a bicycle.

In the background we see a smaller figure standing on some kind of staircase. There is also a more abstract figure placed in profile. In addition, a plinth is adorned with a square placard of some kind that may seem diffuse to an outside observer.

The sculpture group refers to local characteristics and people; we meet the Sandviken-born poet Stig Sjödin, a young man from the Sandviken brewery with his bicycle, another young man on the bridge steps of a mill, the youth shop_Hollywood_and last but not least the "Årsunda giant" who was said to be 218 cm tall.

The sculpture group is made by the sculptor Karl Göte Bejemark from Storvik, who during his lifetime created a number of public works - often with a humorous undertone. One of them is the sculpture_Humor_at Slussen in Stockholm.
