SOUNDWALK SANDVIKEN is a permanent sound art work in the Cultural Center. At the Culture and Leisure Office, artist Tobias Wassberg has created a sculpture especially for the work. You can borrow headphones and mp3 players from the library. You can also download an audio file to your mobile from the website, see link.
SOUNDWALK SANDVIKEN takes you on a 40-minute walk through parts of the city's cultural landscape. Stories and memories from the Mill's history are interspersed with exciting sound environments and newly written music performed by, among others, Sandviken Symphony Orchestra.
SOUNDWALK SANDVIKEN is composed by Jens Hedman, an internationally recognized composer and sound artist living in Sandviken.
