Location: Odenplan (the park at the corner of Storgatan - Odengatan).

In the park at Odenplan, we meet a figure whose naked body has settled in the middle of a fountain. The body is elegantly soft and undulating. One leg is bent in front of the other, so that the naked person is partly covered by her own body at the bottom. The breasts are exposed at the top and the arms are freely extended with the palms open, one facing downwards and the other upwards. The water of the fountain flows towards the hands, joining the body to the fountain in a sophisticated interplay. The head is turned to one side, adding even more balance and line to the sculpture's striking interplay of forms.

The work is by sculptor and medal engraver Tore Strindberg, who during his lifetime created a number of public works of art nationally. The Bird Bath can also be found in Nässjö and Norrköping. Characteristic of Strindberg is the often classically realistic approach in the sculptures.
