Beskrivelse
The Landa Nature Reserve contains a unique area of brown masur birch. In the northwestern part of the reserve there used to be an old pasture. Here you can walk on the path or watch birds. The forest and pastures offer great nature experiences. The Masur birch is a variant of the wart birch that has a particularly patterned wood. This is due to a disturbance in the tree's growth zone. In addition to birch, deciduous trees such as aspen, oak and maple also occur in the reserve.
The area is located 2.5 kilometers southeast of Hedesunda and covers 2.9 hectares. In the vicinity of the reserve there is a valuable bird area (Hedesunda Natura 2000 area).
There are many birds in Landa Nature Reserve. Deciduous forest species such as grey woodpecker, lesser spotted woodpecker, green lark and cuckoo have been observed. Birds thrive in the leafy areas with hollow trees and dead wood.

The nature reserve is located 2.5 kilometers southeast of Hedesunda.
Forskrifter
Special rules apply in the nature reserve. It is not allowed:
- drive a motorized vehicle
- take firewood, make fires or camp
- damage, pick or collect plants, animals (including insects), fungi and lichens
- climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, or otherwise deliberately damaging or disturbing wildlife, with the exception of hunting that may be carried out in the reserve
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs, or do other damage to living or dead trees and plants
- bring an unleashed dog or other unleashed pet
- put up a picture, poster, billboard, sign or make an inscription
- damaging any fixed object or surface formation, such as moving or removing stones
- riding a horse or bicycle off-road
- using recorded sound in a disruptive way, or using it to attract birds or other animals.
