Due to the storm Johannes, there are many trees lying
over the trail and it may take some time before it is fixed and the trail is passable again. If you
you still choose to walk in the area - watch out for fallen trees, leaning
trunks, hanging branches and other signs of instability in the forest.
Beskrivelse
Sommarvägen is a hiking trail that the village of Klockarnäs used to use to get to its Gammelfäbon, Nyssjön, Rotbo, Gryfs and Alderbacka mountain farms. After passing Kurbergsmyrarnas nature reserve, Sommarvägen splits and you can go left up to Alderbacka fäbod or turn right and get to Gryfs fäbod and Rotbodarna.
Envikens hembygdsförening is working to restore the Summer Road to Rotbodarna, which has been forgotten for some time. Clearing, signage and marking of the trail was completely ready for the 2021 hiking season. The path is a bit unclear in parts because it has not been trampled by so many feet in recent times. But it is well marked with orange markings on the trees so it is just to get out and walk.
