Beskrivelse
Around Bastberget and its large pasture, the beautiful Södra Tansbodarna and Tansvägga runs this trail. Very varied environment with everything from streams in ravines to a striking view at Tansvägga.
The nature is very varied, as moist small ravines in several places cross lean rocky areas. The forest on top of the mountain consists mainly of lean rocky pine forest, with a lot of older pines. Below the precipice, a fertile mixed forest grows with a large number of different deciduous trees, especially aspen.

Veibeskrivelse
23 km S of Mockfjärd. From the RV70/E16 junction in Djurås, go west towards Oslo for about 10 km to Mockfjärd. Turn left at the roundabout and go over Västerdalälven and continue straight over the railroad. At the T-junction turn left towards Ersholen, keep right onto the road towards Nyhammar and drive about 700 m. Turn right towards Nyhammar/predikstolen and drive about 16 km. Turn left at the sign Predikstolen / Tanstjärn. After 4 km turn left towards Predikstolen, after 1 km turn right and go 1 km to the turnaround. Here is an information board.
