Nåværende
The bridge at Lumsenkojan has been dismantled and removed due to the risk of collapse. A new bridge is planned, but there is no timetable at present.
This means that it is NOT possible to cross Skräddartorpsån in connection with Lumsenkojan until further notice. Thus, it is also not possible to walk the loop around but you have to walk the same way back alt. that you walk along the gravel road towards Nyfors back.
Beskrivelse
Skräddartorpsån is a small stream that flows between the lakes Lumsen and Söndagssjön.
The river is very popular and an appreciated excursion destination with its beautiful waterfall, Skräddartorpsfallet, and the proximity to Lumsenkojan and its picnic area. Around the river there are nice hiking trails with paths and good resting facilities with barbecue areas, shelters, tables and tc.
NOTE! Only fly fishing is allowed!
Sveaskog encourages all visitors to correctly release ALL catches if possible. The fishing pressure on the fish is occasionally heavy, and the quality of the fishing would quickly deteriorate if all visitors kept the fish.
Fishing is prohibited in ALL flowing waters within the Malingsbo-Kloten from October 1 to November 30.
