Sälskapets Naturreservat

You can come here if you want to pick blueberries and lingonberries, because there are plenty of them! The forest is hiker-friendly and easy to get around in, and you also get a nice view of Lake Lövsen.

The area consists of a high-lying older pine forest with only a few spruces and deciduous trees. The pines are estimated to be between 100 and 200 years old. In the northern part, the pines are not as tall but still appear to be older. Some of them have what is known as crocodile bark and flat crowns - two characteristics that indicate that the trees have been around a little longer. Overall, the forest is very well managed, which is why there is virtually no coarse dead wood. The forest is easy to walk in and there are good views down towards Lake Lövsen.
