Nordbäcksbodarna

Fäbodledsområde 12 passes Nordbäcksbodarna. The 1663 list of sheds mentions "Björkberget-a shed that Nordbäckskarlarne, Anders Matsson i Gräf, Anders Matsson i Nolanbäck and Mats Andersson i Gagnefsbyn use".

In the 1811-1817 land transfer, Nordbäcksbodarna had ten co-owners from Gagnefsbyn, nine from Nordbäck and one from Gärde.

In the summer of 1930, eight or nine households had 35-40 animals in the shed. In 1933, three farmers from Gagnefsbyn had animals on summer grazing at Nordbäcksbodarna.

Grazing continued until the early 1950s, when two households had seven or eight cows and a few young animals in the sheds. Count Anna Olsson and his daughter Annie, married Löfkvist, were the last litters.

In a cultural-historical environmental analysis, Nordbäcksbodarna has been described as an area with cultural-historical and environmental value.
