Beskrivelse
The route up to the summit of Kyrkberget is partly steep and rocky. The reward for those who still make it to the southern summit of Kyrkberget is a breathtaking view from the top of the mountain.
Here you will find drier pine forests, damp areas with mostly spruce, and in between a mixture of these with a large number of deciduous trees. The oldest trees are up to 200 years old, but most are around 150 years old. In the north-western part there are many dead trees, which the spruce bark beetle has to take the blame for.

Within the reserve it is not allowed to...
- damage growing or dead - standing or fallen - trees, stumps and bushes, with the exception of collecting loose, small, dry branches and twigs for the purpose of making a fire. In the case of more extensive burning, such as during longer hunting periods, firewood must be brought along.
- driving a motorized vehicle in the terrain on bare ground.
**Furthermore, it is forbidden without the permission of the County Administrative Board to
- dig up plants, pick mosses, lichens and wood-living fungi or collect animals (such as insects).
