Kurbergsmyrarna

The nature reserve of Kurbergsmyrarna, far from the main roads, may not attract many visitors. But the one who does not go to any of the road ends, stroll through the area and perhaps have coffee at Södra Vitstensfly need hardly regret it.

The reserve consists of a mixture of marshes and more undisturbed forests. The southern part, which is located in Svärdsjö parish, is dominated by old natural forest in flat terrain, where there are also a couple of small ponds, Vitstensflyna. Once inside Enviken's parish, the terrain slopes to the north and a landscape with open marshes and forests is growing. Further down, the forest closes again so that at the bottom of the valley canal again turn into marshes and fine swamp forests along the Örabäcken.

In the middle of the reserve, on the marshes, there is a small, well-tortured marsh lot that trained a small spring dome (see picture above) and in the lower part of the bogs iron ore occurs in several places. The source dome is a small, raised dome-shaped formation formed around or adjacent to a source, on the bog or in its vicinity. The dome is formed by depositing minerals in the water and depositing it when in contact with oxygen at the mouth of the source.

In the middle of the sugar border lies a small fine swamp forest with scrubbing water and the presence of sticky wood, including a stick that appears to have fire sound on the trunk. Other interesting species in the area are lung lava and woolen wool. The old trail to Alderbacka shelters passes through the reserve.
