Järnfyran

The path is well-trodden and leads through forest and over hilly terrain. Almost everywhere you see remains of human activity. Imagine what it must have sounded like here 200 years ago - mining has been carried out here for more than 500 years and up to the 1860s. Along the way, there is brief information produced by the Åhls Hembydsförening.

There is a simple rest area where the Church Path between Insjön and Bjursås crosses Järnfyran in the west. You can advantageously extend your hike with the nearby Gruvbergsvandringen.
