In Dala-Floda - the garden of Dalarna according to Linnaeus - the church is literally "in the middle of the village". Floda became an independent parish with its own priest in 1614. The original stone church dates from the 14th century.
Next to the church there is a tin box with pilgrim passports and pilgrim stamps for those walking the St Olav Rombo Way pilgrimage trail.
