Beskrivelse
Finn Olar's loft is the first listed building in Gagnef municipality.
In the village of Holsåker in Dala-Floda, there is Finn Olar's loft with its associated plot. A dendrochronological survey has shown that parts of the timber can be dated to 1558. Old details such as locks, wind eyes etc. also show the respectable age.
After being threatened with sale and removal in 2013, the Loftbod Committee succeeded in buying the loft on behalf of the Floda Hembygdsförening in 2016.
The Loftboden Committee is a working group under the Hembygdsföreningen and is responsible for the maintenance of the loft and organizes courses and various events at the site. Holsåkers and Kyrkbyns byalag is responsible for annual mowing and minor maintenance.

Parking is available at Ica (500 m), at the church (400 m) and at the parish hall (300 m).
Veibeskrivelse
Dala-Floda is located along the E16. Park by the church or Ica. Walk along the river on the village road and it is signposted around Finn-Olars.
On the other side of the church bridge is Hjort-Olars café. At Ica is Flokullornas restaurant. At Flosjön is the inn with the restaurant Byns skafferi. Around Dala-Floda there are a number of attractions, hiking trails, canoeing and rafting.
A slightly longer walk or drive on the other side of the river takes you to Wålstedts går, which sells bread and organic vegetables.
