Åhlmans Olof Olssons minnesskog

Åhlman's Olof Olsson Memorial Forest in Insjön is a small nature reserve consisting of old pine trees. The forest was donated by Simon Åhlman to the then Åhl municipality in the 1940s, in memory of his father Åhlman's Olof Olsson.

Today, the forest is over 200 years old and is the oldest pine stand in Ålheden. Step into the small pine forest and experience another room and another era. Follow the paths or sit down for a rest on one of the benches. Enjoy the changing green colors of the moss, search for the orchid knotweed or listen for the chattering of the woodpecker.
