Beskrivelse
In Trofta Nature Reserve, you can enjoy the view of the bird-rich Nässjön lake and, with a little luck, catch a glimpse of colorful sand lizards on the top of the mountain.
Coniferous forest with lake views
Most of the nature reserve consists of deciduous forest on shallow and mountainous ground. The dominant tree species are hornbeam and oak, which partly grow as scrub forest. Rare and red-listed species include the sand lizard, which thrives on the area's sun-warmed rocky areas. The reserve also contains part of the nutrient-rich Lake Nässjön, as well as extensive marshes by the lake.

Veibeskrivelse
The Trofta nature reserve is located along the old highway between Bräkne-Hoby and Ronneby. About 5 kilometers east of Bräkne-Hoby, opposite the road towards Trofta quarry, you drive onto a small gravel road. After 300 meters you will arrive at the parking lot.
Forskrifter
You are welcome to visit Trofta, but please note that it is not allowed to
- damage land, shores or bottoms in water areas
- destroy or damage any fixed natural object or surface formation
- unduly disturb wildlife
- damage living or dead trees and shrubs, or vegetation in general
- pick mosses, lichens or woody fungi, other than what is reasonably necessary for species identification
- carry a loose dog other than for hunting
- ride a horse or bicycle
- camping, setting up a caravan or motor home
- making a fire
- use disposable barbecues
- capture and collect invertebrates in such a way as to damage or destroy their habitats or breeding grounds.
Without permission from the county administrative board, you may not
- conduct scientific research involving sampling or installation of equipment
- use the area for competitions or exercises that may disturb nature or the public's outdoor life
- put up a board, poster, billboard, sign, signpost, inscription or similar device.
