Jordö nature reserve borders Almö nature reserve to the east. You will find a car park at the Slätthammar swimming spot just to the south-east of the nature reserve. Continue from the car park on foot and walk along Södra Jordövägen, from which a marked path leads into Jordö nature reserve.

You are welcome to visit Jordö, but please note that it is not allowed to:

• damage stone walls or cairns,
• unduly disturb wildlife,
• damage growing or dead trees and bushes,
• pick mosses, lichens or woody fungi, other than what is reasonably necessary for species identification,
• carry a loose dog other than for hunting
• riding horses or bicycles
• camping or setting up a caravan or motor home
• start fires, use alcohol stoves or disposable barbecues
• capture and collect invertebrates in such a way as to damage or destroy their biotopes or reproductive habitats.

Without permission from the county administrative board, you may not either:

• conduct scientific research involving sampling or installation of equipment
• use the area for competitions or exercises that may disturb nature or the public's outdoor life,
• affix a board, poster, poster, sign, markers, inscription or similar device.
