Vänern is the largest lake in Sweden and angling enthusiasts can fish there during the whole year. Askevik has accommodation in cabins, a guest harbour with a launching ramp nearby and a table for cleaning fish. The guest harbour also has a restaurant and there is a child-friendly sandy beach next to it. Spend the day on Vänern and come back to enjoy the wood-fired sauna, then eat a well-deserved dinner in the restaurant.

Activities nearby

Sjötorp and the Göta Canal are only seven kilometres south of Askevik Camping & Stugor, where you can find more activities for the whole family. Try out one of the restaurants, visit the fishing and handicraft cottages and the museum, or rent a bicycle and take a tour along the canal.
