Storsand bathing area is located by road 315 in the southern part of Holmsjön. The bathing area is a 150 m long sandy beach and where there are good opportunities for play, games and sunbathing.
The bathing area is located at Storsand's campsite where it is possible to rent canoes, pedal boats and rowing boats.
Adjacent is Maljan's nature reserve where there is a large population of the protected river pearl mussel.
