Kuvaus
Many of the largest pine trees around the Liksgelisen mountain were cut down in the 19th century, but the forest still retained its primeval forest character. Today, Liksgelisen is a nature reserve with very high natural values, which shows how the forests in the area once looked.

The reserve is located 15 km northwest of Sorsele. The road goes all the way to the reserve. Take road 1135 from Sorsele towards the village of Örnäsudden, turn left just before the village.
