Sandvikarnas badplats

One of the most attractive beaches on lake Vänern. You get here by tour boat.

Sandvikarna is a very popular place for families with children. The beach is very shallow. It has a playground, information, barbecue areas and a outdoor toilet without water. Dogs are allowed but may not enter the water. Follow the trail to the south and you reach footbridges leading to the nature reserve of Sibberön (this area also includes the island Kalvön). The whole trail is around 4 km long. Sandvikarna are located on the island of Vålön and you get here by tour boat from Vålösundsbryggan.
