Kuvaus
In Valkeajärvi Nature reserve, there are dry pine moors and some small wetlands, parts of a lake and a waterstream called Merasjoki. The sandy ground with sparse pine trees is easy to hike on and there are some unmarked trails in the area. There are many rare species of fungi in the forest.
The reserve is 6.4 square kilometres in size and is situated in Pajala.
