Bolmenmarschen

Every year, on the first weekend in August, Lake Bolmen is transformed into a hiking enthusiast's dream when the Ljungby Hiking Association organizes the annual Bolmenmarschen. This 125 km hike, spread over three days, offers a unique opportunity to explore the stunning nature around Lake Bolmen.

The Bolmenmarschen is signposted, making it easy to follow the route. The route in the Nature Map is based on the Lantmäteriet map and may be altered in some places, so it is important to follow the signs in nature. The walk will take you along busy country roads, through quiet forest paths and along winding trails, all while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Whether you are an experienced hiker or a beginner, you can plan your own Bolmenmarsch and hike at your own pace.

Along the way, there are many cozy cafes where you can stop for a well-deserved break and enjoy local delicacies. For overnight stays, there are charming hostels, bed and breakfasts, Airbnb options and campsites with a homely atmosphere that will give you a chance to really relax.

Sign up with the Ljungby hiking club who will also organize food and accommodation during the event. Participating in the Bolmenmarschen with other walkers creates a sense of togetherness and makes the experience even more memorable.
