Lensberget, Naturreservat

The reserve is located in the northern part of the Lensberget mountain area and consists of a blocky slope with spruce forest and a large element of old deciduous trees such as aspen, birch, rowan and seal. There are mostly figures along the edges of the area. Stumps after harvested coarse pines with fire damage show that the area has been exposed to heavy fire.

In the woods there is a lot of dead wood that is lurking about noise. A large part is young dead wood, but there are also old pine trees and on the slopes up to 240 years old fir trees. An environment that creates the conditions for great species richness.

The area has high value for biodiversity. Among the interesting species that have been found here, there are three-pointed woodpecker, the orchids coral root and the knee, as well as the mushrooms star-tagging and meat-eating.
