Tour Details: Långholmen & Reimersholme ℹ️

• Starting Point / Launch Site: Eden Kajak & SUP at Smedsudden, Kungsholmen.
• Distance: Approximately 3–5 km, depending on the route chosen.
• Duration: Approx. 1–2 hours.
• Difficulty Level: Green (Easy/Beginner). However, we recommend paddling skills corresponding to the EPP Yellow level (Euro Paddle Pass) for the best experience .
• Season: This route is paddleable for most of the year, as long as the water is ice-free. Note: Ice usually forms first in the narrow channel of Pålsundet. Always dress according to current conditions and paddle with a friend for increased safety .

Logistics & Launch Points: While the tour can technically be started from various spots along the route, please note that we have not secured formal agreements with private landowners for all docks on Reimersholme and Långholmen. If you plan to use a private dock, please ask for permission before landing or launching.

Facilities: A public toilet is available at the Smedsuddsbadet beach during the summer season.

• Paddle under the massive Västerbron bridge and enjoy the impressive views over Stockholm.
• Pass through Pålsundet, a picturesque canal filled with classic wooden boats during the summer.
• Experience the calm charm of Reimersholme, an island with a fascinating industrial history.
• See the historic Långholmen Prison from the waterside.

Safety & Risk Management: ⚠️

• Traffic: Be aware of a high volume of boat traffic, including recreational boats and commercial vessels. Keep a sharp lookout and stay clear of main fairways (shipping lanes).
• Cold Water: Early in the season, the water can be very cold. We strongly recommend wearing a Dry Suit during colder periods to ensure safety and comfort .

Sustainability & Nature: ♻️

• Keep it Clean: Please help us preserve nature. Bring any trash you find back with you to sort and dispose of in proper bins.

Parking & Drop-off: Eden Kajak & SUP 📍

• Parking: The easiest place to park is along Norr Mälarstrand or up the hill on Fyrverkarbacken.
• Dropping off Private Gear: If you are bringing your own kayak or SUP, you are welcome to drive all the way in to the turnaround point (vändplan) right at Eden to unload your equipment.
• Service: Just speak to our staff on-site—they will happily keep an eye on your gear while you drive away to park your car .

• Metro (Tunnelbana):Green Line: Get off at station Fridhemsplan or Thorildsplan.Red Line: Get off at station Hornstull.
• Bus: The nearest stop is Västerbroplan.
