Mölna brygga

Mölna brygga is a beautiful viewpoint with a view of Lilla Värtan. A bench table offers space for a picnic. The pier is a nice fishing spot and one of the best places on Lidingö for fishing sea trout.

The jetty has an old history and was the first jetty on Lidingö that was docked by archipelago boats. The pier was used in the summer by archipelago traffic from the 1860s to the 1940s.

In the 18th century, there was a long wooden pier here, where archipelago residents sailed to get their grain ground at Mölna mill. At the beginning of the 19th century, large sailing ships docked here with cargoes from South America and elsewhere.
