Kuvaus

The outdoor gym aims to encourage those who may not exercise very often to try going to an outdoor gym. Perhaps you have a disability that affects your ability to exercise, for example due to diagnosis or old age. The hope is that most people will feel comfortable using this outdoor gym, whatever their circumstances.

The focus of the equipment is to train balance and motor skills and stimulate senses such as touch and hearing. The hope is that you will find that the environment allows both physical exercise and relaxation. Perhaps it can serve as a challenging element in our everyday lives where the place becomes a natural stop along walks.

Near the outdoor gym are both Björkby-Kyrkviken's walking path, Kvarnbadet, Väsbygården's care home, service housing, colony area, preschool and Hälsans stig. These are all important components of the outdoor gym. It is 800 meters to Tuna torg.
