Grön entré Skavlöten

The Rönninge by and Skavlöten nature reserve is located along the eastern shore of Lake Rönninge and is the municipality's most important outdoor recreation area. Here you can hike along many different trails and tracks. In the northern part of the area there is dense coniferous forest. In the southern part of the area is the 19th century village of Rönninge. Skansberget is located roughly in the middle of the stretch of beach. From here you have a nice view of both the lake and other parts of Täby.

The bearded grebe nests in the lake and the gray heron also likes to come here to look for food. In the filtered light of the forest you can meet the stonechat and the green warbler. The reserve is also one of the few places where you can spot the rare lesser flycatcher.
