Welcome to a lovely charming cottage of two floors just outside the summery town Grisslehamn in northern Roslagen, or, as it is called, the real Roslagen. The cottage is built in the 19th century but renovated throughout.

Welcome to a lovely charming cottage of two floors just outside the summery town Grisslehamn in northern Roslagen, or,as it is called, the real Roslagen.

The cottage is built in the 19th century but renovated throughout. Wide floorboards, a working stove in the living room and wood stove in the kitchen give lots of charm.

The land is shared with the owners, but you will have plenty of private space in front of the house. There is also outdoor furniture and a barbecue grill, so you are welcome to eat both breakfast and dinner in the greenery.

There are many ways to spend your days. How about a day trip by bus or why not rent a bike for 100 SEK/day or 250 SEK/week and discover the surrounding area? If you want to relax after your outing, the wood-fired sauna can be pre-booked.

You may also pre-book your breakfast or a barbecue package for self-catering. We can also arrange a meal of the traditional Swedish surströmming (fermented herring) herring, if you are interested. There is a restaurant just 50 meters from the cottage, Folk & Fä, where you can book both breakfast and dinner, subject to availability. The restaurant is fully licensed.

For excursions, there is a lot to see in the area. You can take the bus to Singö, Fogdö and Grisslehamn with its cafes, restaurants and grocery store.

The Albert Engström Museum is located in Grisslehamn. You can take a day trip to Åland from Grisslehamn. The food is great, you may relax on deck and enjoy the Sea of Åland, or just go for a walk in wonderful Roslagen.
