Den långa Askaleden

In nature's own spiritual space, there is an opportunity for breathing and recreation with seating for rest, reflection and coffee. There's also a barbecue area for those who want to brighten up their hike with some sausage grilling. Along the trail there are four quote stones with thought-provoking words to ponder while strolling.

Askaleden consists of two trails. An easier trail that is 2 km long and relatively easy to walk and the slightly longer trail that is 4.2 km, which has a slightly more varied surface. Both trails start at the same place, at Asklunden with its forging trees, near the farm building at Lilla Aska griftegård (where there is a map to pick up), and then divide after about 1 km. The trail is marked with yellow-red posts and provided with various information signs.

Lilla Aska is located near Slaka community, about seven km southwest of central Linköping.
