Vattenkvarnen i Norra Gullabo

The watermill was built in 1882 and operated until the 1920s.

The water mill was probably built in 1882 by the farmer Johan Jonasson who owned the farm Norra Gullabo 1:8. The mill was in operation until the 1920s when it was donated to Torsås Hembygdsförening by Johan's grandson Filip Johansson. The mill is very well preserved and is still fully functional.

Birds to see: If you are lucky, you can see the occasional common tern.Flora: At the mill there is cabbage lark, cuckoo flower, goat's rue, white-flowered and buttercup.
