Moren

Moren is one of four lakes that Virserum SFK leases and licenses fishing in. The others are Mistersjö, Lysegöl and Ånglegöl. The club sells day passes, or you can choose to be a member. As a member, you can fish in all club lakes except Lysegöl. The lakes are located in a quiet environment and offer good fishing. They are well equipped with boats, jetties, accommodation and other things that an angler appreciates.

Moren is a nutrient-poor lake with clear water surrounded by rocky terrain and coniferous forest. The lake can be found if you drive south from Virserum on road 23. About 5 km south of Virserum, there is a road signposted Moren. After about 5 km you arrive at the lake and the cottage you can rent from the club. You can park your car there.

Along the shores grow pine and some birch. The aquatic vegetation is sparse, but somewhat denser in shallow bays where it grows bladderwrack, water lilies and pike perch. The surroundings are characterized by undisturbed wilderness and this means that you often see wildlife of various kinds. Eurasian bitterns are sometimes seen fishing in the lake. The lake contains several small islands.
