Kuvaus
Bielkeleden is a hiking trail that follows the shore around Grimmansmålasjön and is about 6 kilometers long. With the help of footbridges and bridges, you can reach the legendary Rostockaholme.
Nils Turesson (Bielke) lived here in the early 14th century. Nils was a knight and one of the most powerful men in the kingdom. Today, not much remains of his farm, but the new information boards still give a picture of what it might have looked like.
After an easy 600-meter walk, you'll arrive at the farm remains. The trail continues north and around Grimmansmålasjön. This stretch requires some hiking experience. In the fall and spring, it is good to wear boots on the north and northwest of the trail.
The trail is a result of cooperation between Emmaboda municipality, Algutsboda Hembygdsförening, Emmabodabygdens Historiska Förening and the County Administrative Board of Kalmar County.

Riktigt fin liten led med växlande natur. Sjönära och många trevliga informationsskyltar. En led att återkomma till.

Vi var här förra helgen när slingan var snötäckt och av fotspåren att döma hade endast en person med hund gått rundan efter att snön lagt sig. Underbar och varierande miljö med mkt historia kring vad som funnits längs sjön förr i tiden. Den kändes bra mycket längre än 6 km när man gick i snö, men vi älskade den och kommer gärna tillbaka under fler årstider.
