Bergkvara Vandrarhem

Hostel | The hostel has a genuine maritime environment. In the lush garden you can enjoy the tranquility or why not walk a few hundred meters to the beach and take a dip.Bergkvara Hostel currently has 13 rooms. We have one apartment with its own shower/toilet and kitchen. All other rooms share a common toilet (There are 5 in the house) Free access to our gym is included. We have check-in every day between 17-18:30. Check-out at 12 noon.

It is possible to arrive at other times, we have a code on the door and hand it out to pre-booked guests. From the hostel it is about 500 meters to the nearest beach, restaurant and mini golf course and about 5 meters to the nearest bus stop with connections to Torsås, Kalmar and Karlskrona.

Midway between Kalmar and Karlskrona is Bergkvara, which once had one of Sweden's largest trading ports. Even today, Bergkvara's former buildings and charm can be seen and felt along the village streets.

The hostel is located a stone's throw from Dalskär in Bergkvara where you will find Dalskärs Sjökrog with full rights, guest harbor, Dalskärs camping which, among other things, offers swimming in outdoor pools, mini golf and rental of bicycles, pedal boats, canoes and kayaks. Nearby there are also several nice bathing areas, café and Bergkvara Maritime Museum.
