Kuvaus
The rapids at Finnvedsvallen are a good place to launch canoes and
kayaks in River Lagan. Häråns Kanotled (canoe trail) passes by here and follows
the beautiful River Lagan through Värnamo and down to Osudden swimming area at
Lake Vidöstern. Canoes can be rented at Värnamo Camping, which is located just
downstream from the rapids. Värnamo Camping also organises transport of the
canoes.
There
are benches at the landing site where you can enjoy a ‘fika’ in the beautiful
surroundings. If you want to fish, you can buy a fishing permit at Värnamo
Camping or via iFiske:Fiskekort i Vidösterns FVO. There are good parking facilities by the rapids.
