On the slopes down toward the lake, you’ll see grazing mountain cows and goats – and the village is alive with activity year-round. Guests are warmly welcomed into the local community. Bake traditional flatbread at the heritage centre, enjoy music festivals or take part in skiing and running events. Every year, Ottsjö hosts Fjällmaratonveckan – a full week of competitions attracting sports enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.

In this 1930s house, you’ll be welcomed by a calm and cozy atmosphere. Nature inspires every detail – from the interior colors to the food and the activities. Sustainability is at the heart of the experience, protecting both Ottsjö’s environment and the life of the village.

Rooms at Ottsjö Wärdshus are simple yet comfortable. You’ll have your own bathroom or one nearby. Robes and slippers are provided, and in the cozy basement you'll find a sauna, lounge, and games room – perfect for unwinding with friends or family.
