Barmarksled, Ålsjön

To the west of the E4 highway is a birdwatching tower where you can look out over the former extent of Ålsjön, which became farmland in the 17th and 19th centuries. Since 1995, the County Administrative Board has recreated something similar to the old meadows and fields. Skylarks sing over the plain, and curlews play at dusk.

There is also Ålsjöstugan with comfortable outdoor seating and a large barbecue area.
