Vassbo’s central location between the Dalarna towns of Falun and Borlänge means that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside while having at the same time immediate access to cultural activities, sporting activities and shopping.
The hostel can also offer well-equipped facilities for conferences and courses, including access to WiFi. It is also possible to rent the complete building – perfect for a wedding or 50th birthday party.
Accommodation
The hostel has rooms of several sizes. All of them are of a high standard, and most have en suite facilities. For a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay, order daily cleaning of the room, making the beds and breakfast from us. The breakfast buffet can be enjoyed in peace and quiet in the airy and sunny dining room, with a view in summer across paddocks and meadows. Breakfast is served 8.00 am-9.00 am.
Free car parking is available by the hostel.

BUS
From central Falun, you can take a bus directly to Vassbo. There are also buses from both Falun and Borlänge to Lilla Ornäs, from where it takes about a 25-minute walk to the hostel.
CAR
Alternatively, you can travel by car. Vassbo is a 14-minute drive from Falun and 13 minutes from Borlänge.
Take road E16 and turn off towards Aspeboda/Ornäs. Follow the signs to Aspeboda, pass under the main road and continue onto Vassbovägen. After approximately 1.5 km, turn right down through Vassbo and follow the signs to the hostel. Parking is free and located directly next to the accommodation. If the parking area is full, there is a larger car park within walking distance, which is also free of charge.
