**The city's finest room - the square in Karlshamn - is surrounded by magnificent and beautiful buildings.
Trade is often lively here and one of the cobblestones, which is both larger than the others and has a plaque, is called the Turk Stone. A murder took place here in 1717 when a servant murdered his foreman after a quarrel over a Karlshamn girl with whom both had fallen in love.
