Just over a kilometer north of the stage goal at Stenkällegården there is a dead-end trail of 100 meters that leads up to a viewing mountain. From here you have a wide view to the south and east over the part of Tiveden that is closest to Vättern. At the far end you can see Vättern and in clear weather all the way to Östergötland.
