Borgsjö promenadslinga

In Borgsjö, you can walk along part of the Borgsjön runt. It is a hiking trail that goes around the entire Borgsjön and is marked with blue signs at the intersections. The entire hiking trail is almost 2 miles, but it is possible to walk parts. The route described here is 4 kilometers long. It has some climbing, but is still quite easy to walk as it is on road and even, clear path.

Parking is available at the naturum at the Borgsjö rest area and you can get off the bus at the stops E14 Borgsjöbyn Circle K or Borgsjö junction E14.

If you start from the Borgsjö rest area, turn right on the road towards Västanå. Just opposite the junction towards Erikslund, a path goes into the forest on the left. Follow this path all the way up to the E14, which is crossed. On the other side, keep right onto a small gravel road. Here it is signposted with Borgsjön around. After a short distance it is time to turn again, now left onto a narrower forest road. Here too it is signposted. This small, grassy road ends in a path that you follow through the forest up over the hill.

It comes down to a road next to a farm. Here you keep right and then take an immediate left. Then you are down on the main road through the village and can follow it on to the E14 and the Borgsjö rest area.
