Das Naturschutzgebiet liegt 12 Kilometer nordöstlich von Hassela.

Special rules apply in the nature reserve. It is not allowed to:

• drive motorized vehicles other than on roads intended for motorized traffic,
• take firewood or make fires,

1. break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead standing or fallen trees and bushes,

• damage, pick or collect plants, fungi and lichens
• climbing nest trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow, collecting animals or otherwise harming or disturbing wildlife
• put up a picture, poster, billboard, sign or make an inscription
• damaging any fixed object or surface formation, such as rearranging or removing stones, digging, or similar.
