Ekebyborna kyrka

Ekebyborna Church is a church building in Ekebyborna parish, Motala municipality in Östergötland. The church is located by Lake Boren and belongs to Fornåsa parish, Borensberg pastorate, in Linköping diocese.

Ekebyborna church, on a ridge in the open agricultural landscape, consists of a rectangular nave with a narrower straight chancel, sacristy in the north and burial choir in the south. The church has white plastered facades and arched windows. The west tower is the same width as the nave. In the south wall of the tower, traces of a portal can be seen, which used to be the main entrance to the church. The richly decorated 12th-century wrought iron door, which was in the doorway, is now in the porch. On the second floor of the tower are two barrel-vaulted rooms, the northern of which is called St. Bridget's chamber. All the outer roofs are gable roofs, the tower is crowned by a concave hood. The current entrance to the church is located in the west.
