STF Abisko Turiststation is the northernmost accommodation of the Swedish Tourist Association, located 250 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. You’ll find us in Abisko National Park with views of Lapporten, Mount Nuolja and the vast lake Torneträsk.
Visitors from all over the world come here to experience Arctic Sweden, the northern lights and the midnight sun. Take the chairlift to STF Aurora Sky Station at the top of Mount Nuolja or join one of our knowledgeable guides for a tour of the area.
Abisko offers 377 beds spread across rooms in the main building, the Keron hostel and our cabins. No matter where you stay, you’ll have access to showers, toilets, kitchen, drying room, sauna, laundry facilities and common areas.
Restaurant Kungsleden serves breakfast, lunch and a set dinner menu. You can also prepare your own packed lunch during breakfast to bring along for the day’s excursion or train journey. We use local ingredients as much as possible. We recommend reserving a dinner table in advance and informing us of any dietary requirements by contacting the restaurant at +46101902403 or emailing abisko.restaurang@stfturist.se.
Our shop is stocked with provisions and equipment for your mountain adventure. You’ll find a wide selection of outdoor clothing, gear, groceries, toiletries and souvenirs—available for both purchase and rental. Read more under Shop & Rental.
