Erstavik: Entré Snörom

The Snörom entrance is a good starting point for a tour of Erstavik nature from Ältavägen. Next to the old croft, there are information boards about Erstavik and parking for a few cars. This is the start of the White Trail, which takes you up the slope above Källtorpssjön and on through a varied nature that offers fine views. If you follow the southern shore of the lake for a while, you will see Källtorp, a beautiful red building from the 18th century, on a promontory. Snörom was the home of a bell ringer who worked in both Nacka church by Nacka stream and in Erstavik chapel. The priest lived in Källtorp.
