Gallsjömossen, Naturreservat

Gallsjömossen Nature Reserve consists of the marshland area of Gallsjömossen with surrounding pine forests.

The forest is an "old-growth forest", i.e. it is very old, especially in the northern part of the reserve. Here you will find trees that are several hundred years old. Dead trees, both standing and lying, are abundant in the old pine forest and in the zones towards marsh areas and swamp forest.

In the reserve there is a marked hiking trail, a circular loop, which measures about 4 kilometers back and forth to the parking lot. It is partially demanding as it partly goes over rocky knolls and rocky ground. It is boarded over wet areas.

The Sörmlandsleden trail passes through the reserve and goes past the parking lot.
