Beskrivelse
Several associations have activities in the area, such as Gärds Ryttarförening and Pan-Kristianstad orienteringsklubb. In addition to the international scout camp Jamboree22, mountain bike events and dog-related activities take place here.
July 30 - August 6, 2022, Åsumfältet will be the site of a world scout camp, known as 'Jamboree'. The Scouts and Kristianstad, which organized a World Scout Jamboree in 2011 with 40,000 visitors and Sweden's first major national Jamboree in 2001, expect at least 10,000 visitors. South of the upper secondary school, along Lilliecronas väg, is also the Artillery Museum, part of the government-supported Swedish Military Heritage network. For opening hours and contact details, see Artillery Museum website.

Fakta
The natural environment consists mainly of open sandy areas, pastures and pine forests. The Biosphere Office works with high natural and cultural values with over 70 red-listed species and 90 species of solitary bees, but also endangered birds and fungi.

There are several parking lots in the area, including at Gyllenstiernas väg and at the old barracks area.
Kommunikationsflows
City bus 4 towards Norra Åsum leaves from Kristianstad C and stops at Wendesgymnasiet , 500m away. Read more on Skånetrafikens hemsida.
Rutevejledning
From E22 Trafikplats Vilan 38 drive south towards Norra Åsum. Turn right onto Norra Artillerivägen towards Wendesgymnasiet. Parking is available adjacent to the high school and at Gyllenstiernas väg.
