Beskrivelse
The bathing area is located on a headland on the north side of Lake Hjälmaren and has a jetty, large grassy areas, a barbecue area and an accessible bathing ramp for wheelchairs.
There is a summer café and toilet close to the bathing area. The place is a stage destination on the Hemfjärden cycle path.

Suitable start and finish point. At Norra Ässundet there is proximity to parking, bike trail, toilet and café. The bathing area at Norra Ässundet is located on a headland between Äsön and the mainland in Hjälmaren. Access to the beach north of the bathing jetties. For those who come by bike, there is a good route description link to another website on the page about the bike trail Hemfjärden around. If you drive a car, take the E 18 towards Arboga and turn off towards Glanshammar and then towards Skävesund. It is about 2.5 km from the exit to Ässundet.
